“In Solution” is a series of work that captures a snapshot of the exact moment when a falling object, such as a feather, makes contact with liquid and activates it.
This reaction is the exact moment where cause and effect meet, and the image begs for it own reaction from the audience. It could be interpreted as literal as, simply a beautiful drop of water rippling out, or perhaps it will remind us of the actions in our life that cause reactions to ripple out in all directions..are they as gentle as a feather’s ripples or more turbulent like a wave?
